I got the small beaded chain from Bloomingdale's sale and found the little starfish at a jeweler online. I think they are perfect together as all my other chains are too large for the little starfish. (Photo on top of TSC book...the amulets are on the cover. Sorry the picture is a little blurry!)

So I ordered a leather cord necklace 34” off eBay. Under $10. Going to see how it looks before buying the one off Etsy. I just can’t get myself to purchase one from TSC , so expensive for what it is.
Also my new earrings came in. They fit great and it is larger than the one from Bloomingdale’s

Thanks! The chain is 18" total but also has a ring at 16" so it can be worn at both lengths!

I think it is a great idea to get leather cords elsewhere. Honestly, the ones with solid gold clasps (TSC or unbranded) are expensive, and you can't even see that part!

I think one advantage of the TSC cords is the availability of colors other than black. I like having a black one, but it's my least worn cord. I did consider the Etsy one. Because it's a less thick, I thought it might be better with my round amulet vs the thicker TSC ones. Last night I played around with a rubber cord I have of the same thickness. It just didn't feel substantial enough with my large, round amulet, so I just saved money by not ordering the Etsy one!
(Not that I really needed yet another way to wear that amulet!

There are many other leather cord necklaces on Etsy with different colors and in the 3mm and other sizes (and likely some are better quality than others). I probably will test one eventually to see if I like it and see what length works on me before I'd invest in the TSC version. Hi all- my sales associate just told me that Temple St Clair will be having a price increase on June 1st (not sure how much across the board)
That is very disappointing considering the last increase was substantial. Thank you for letting us know!
I was told the same. Previously with price increases, it didn't appear to be a flat % increase. Prices were adjusted piece by piece, with no increases at all for some, and significant increases for others. In the current climate, I wouldn't be surprised to see all the prices go up!
I just checked the website and saw the latest round of price increases. Just… wow. When I got my Tolomeo in 2017, it was $10k. It is now $18,000. I understand the economics driving the increases but it’s still shocking.
