There was an part exotic Plume in Miel gator about 4 years ago. The entire side panels were alligator and the handles, top bottom and sides were Swift, which for me was the best part of practical and beyond fabulous. It was 'only' £2.6K more than my Babmou Swift leather (apologies to people not used to H prices). Sort of regret not buying the brown one now  hang resale!

Oh my goodness!! What a dream! I am falling in love with these part exotic bags! Miel is so beautiful. Hermes regrets!!

I think the chanel re-issues are specifically known for bad resale. The best resale is for classic flaps and boy bags. Also I'm not an LV expert but the monogram NFs and speedies seem to hold good value while all the other styles not so much. It's really only certain styles in a brand a not a brand in and of itself that holds up.

Hmm that I would agree with from what I've observed recently. Friends of mine have been on the lookout for preloved items and lots of them sell for a premium on eBay and other consignment websites like Glamshock, and a few US-based consignment stores, especially the classic colours and red bags. Maybe it's the high demand. On one hand, I don't agree with sellers trying to ask for higher than what they paid for (recently saw one eBay seller listing her Chanel small black classic flap for $7000, $680more than what she paid for in store!! I mean, come on, discerning buyers would know that wasn't the price paid for in spite of what the ad claims.. And rightly so, that item has been stuck there for the last couple months without any buyers biting.. ). On the other hand, I don't agree with potential buyers offering low ball offers either. If the seller has listed the item according to depreciation values and the item is still in excellent condition, I say offering low ball offers to the amount of 10% of the listing price is pretty rude. I've been on both sides of the fence so just thought to give my two cents. What do you all think?
