Tell me about Brahmin bags please?

I do too. I have one medium Duxbury and agree it's a great size. I'd still like something a wee bit smaller than it, but would be happy still with that size.

So, I'm a menace to the purse world, because this Brahmin is going back too. I ordered this one directly from Brahmin on the hope that it would be a smaller, easier carry. Its dimensions are about an inch shorter, 2 inches less long, an inch less wide and somehow in my head that was going to make an appreciable difference, but it makes practically no difference at all in how it feels on the shoulder. It still feels quite large. Here's the Heather next to the large Duxbury I already own.

I don't know why I really imagined those couple of inches in each dimension would make a difference, but they really don't. Not enough of one for me to bother selling what I already have to replace it with this one, at a loss of course. So even though there's nothing wrong with this bag, I will probably return it.

But um, why does my own bag look yellower than the new one to return? Is mine very dirty or something? I would have no idea how to clean such a leather. It's not that stiff lacquered coating on most Brahmin that wipes easily. It's soft, like nubuck and with this iridescent embossing I'd be afraid to clean with a leather cleaner.
I've never seen this bag IRL but I don't think you should use a leather cleaner. I have a Coach bag that has a similar surface. I don't know what you could use to clean it. You might rub away some of the iridescence.

I have had problems with Brahmin's quality control. I've returned a few due to defects like the flap being crooked. It has made me afraid to order bags sight unseen. If there is a pattern, you won't know how it will appear on the bag until you get it.
I agree. Last spring I had to order 3 of the same bag and then choose the one with the least wrong with it. It's sad because to me, a lot of times bags from contemporary brands are better-made and sturdier than those from high-end brands (*cough cough*, looking at you, Chanel!), plus with the lower price point it feels like you can be a bit more carefree. But it sucks that quality issues are becoming so rife at all ends of the price spectrum! Nowadays if I'm buying a new Brahmin and can't do it in person, I just prepare myself to have to order multiples to try to pick the best one.

Anyone seen this one in person?

The pink looks so beautiful in the photo. I was hoping to get a bright red Brahmin as my next one but they don't have any in styles I like right now.
I have not seen it in person but I would say that the Brahmin colors are almost always very true to the color in the photos. It is a gorgeous color. Please post your thoughts if you get it!

I had a Brahmin obsession years ago and purchased these. I want to sell them, but not sure how? I'm willing to let most of the items go for a fair price. They're barely used. Any suggestions? TIA

You can list them on any resale site, like ebay, Poshmark or Mercari. If you list on the latter two, price higher than you want because people will send lower offers.
