Ok I am disappointed. I picked one of the Ashlee in a hurry and once I got home noticed one of the handles was crooked. It was a floor model.
That's why I got online and ordered another which arrived yesterday.
I haven't even opened the wrapper and I can tell this too has a crooked handle. Should I return both? I tried bending the unwrapped one into shape but it bends right back into it's crooked shape.

I'm so sorry they both have a defect! 
That's very disappointing. I would imagine you would need to put something inside the handle to hold it in the correct shape - maybe a oatmeal box? I have had problems with Brahmin's quality control. I've returned a few due to defects like the flap being crooked. It has made me afraid to order bags sight unseen. If there is a pattern, you won't know how it will appear on the bag until you get it.
It’s disappointing the direction Brahmin has headed lately. Especially when I contrast their recent offerings with my vintage Brahmin. After all these years its quality has well and truly stood the test of time.
Returned Ashlee and bought Mod Shayna.
So I currently have the large Duxbury in Regal Mini Melbourne, and I love its iridescence. This gif is the best I could do, but it does it no justice
But it is quite large. At the end of fall or beginning of winter, they offered this pattern in style Heather, which I've never seen in person. It looks like a medium sized bag. I wanted to get that one and sell or give away my large duxbury. But I thought about it for so long, that it eventually sold out. It's recently back in stock, so I ordered it. Hopefully I will like it, and then hopefully I can sell my larger one for a decent price. Else, guess I will find a suitable gift recipient.

The medium duxbury is the perfect size for me. I really like the style, it's easy to carry.
I do too. I have one medium Duxbury and agree it's a great size. I'd still like something a wee bit smaller than it, but would be happy still with that size.
So, I'm a menace to the purse world, because this Brahmin is going back too. I ordered this one directly from Brahmin on the hope that it would be a smaller, easier carry. Its dimensions are about an inch shorter, 2 inches less long, an inch less wide and somehow in my head that was going to make an appreciable difference, but it makes practically no difference at all in how it feels on the shoulder. It still feels quite large. Here's the Heather next to the large Duxbury I already own.
and a side comparison
I don't know why I really imagined those couple of inches in each dimension would make a difference, but they really don't. Not enough of one for me to bother selling what I already have to replace it with this one, at a loss of course. So even though there's nothing wrong with this bag, I will probably return it.
But um, why does my own bag look yellower than the new one to return? Is mine very dirty or something? I would have no idea how to clean such a leather. It's not that stiff lacquered coating on most Brahmin that wipes easily. It's soft, like nubuck and with this iridescent embossing I'd be afraid to clean with a leather cleaner.
I know that Brahmin does have a leather cleaning/mosturizing product. Maybe it's because the surface is larger and it reflects the light more. The new one is a nice looking bag but still looks really large. I would return it too since your goal is to go smaller.
