Lucky girl!! I wish my local BB&B sold Technomarine!!

I could care less if they are a lesser known US brand, they are much larger in Europe - and regardless, they are unique - I can tell you I get many more compliments on my Technolady than on my J12.

I am glad you are keeping it - I think it is a very nice watch!!!

I have a Technomarine watch with Pave' diamonds on the face and around the dial, purchased 5 years ago and it still has the same battery. I get more compliments on that watch than my rolex, cartier, etc. How on earth did you get such a huge discount? I called my store and they said 30 to 50% off depending on the style??

If you have to ask the board if you made a good purchase, then maybe you only bought the watch because it was a good deal. Did you walk into BBB wanting to buy that specific watch or were you pressured into it by the saleperson? A few weeks ago I got ambushed by two salespeople at my jeweler while watch shopping, so much so that I walked out thinking if I didn't buy a Rolex I would be judged by anyone who saw my wrist.

Wait a week and see if you are still satisfied with your purchase. If you find yourself still thinking about the watch being so similar to the J-12 or are still wanting to get a J-12, then return it because then you will be dissatisfied and out the money. Save up and buy a J-12 because it's what you truly want and nothing else will do.

In my opinion, Chanel doesn't have the lock on women's white ceramic watches until the end of time. Toy Watch and Accutron also have gorgeous ones. I don't think of Technomarine or Toy Watch as J-12 knock-offs.

I have a regular technomarine with a diamond bezel -- have had it for years and still wear it. If it's just the "look" you want, keep it. I don't think Chanel is known for watches.
