Well, for me, I dont wear plastic jewelery, and I really wouldnt spend that kind of money on it if I did. To each his own.

My daughter used to work at Metro Park and she got a 25% discount and she used to buy it. She did have to reglue some pieces where the glue dried out.

I understand what you are saying. It is pretty expensive since it is plastic. I wish it were cheaper because the jewelry to me is cute but for the same price I could have something in silver or gold.

I have two lucite small bracialets. I don't wear them anymore because 1 broken!!!! Suddently it got broken and I lost all the beads (is this the correct word in English?) in the ground.... Another friend of mine has a bracialet with beads (white and pink stripes) and the same happened her. We both bought it in the store, they were 100% original.
I'm not going to spend a penny on her stuff anymore! I prefer to save it for other things!

^^If it had broken within about 30 days or so, you could have had them repair it. Maybe you should email the TT customer service and see if there is anything they can do about it.
I don't particularly like the bracelets but I love the necklaces.

I wear it few times and it was after 30 days - I bought it in one of the few boutiques and it's very far from here. I'm totally disappointed by the service but I still think her creations are so cute! (too often overpriced, here are more expensive, I paid about 30 euro for each bracialet)

My dad got me a TT necklace today after my last final was over for "doing well in school" hehe. Here's the pic of the new one and an updated pic of everything.

Congrats on your new necklace!! It's adorable!!
Thanks for reposting your pictures. I totally  seeing everyone's stuff. How do you find the chains on the necklaces to be, do they tarnish easily? I'd like to get one of her pendants but I'm afraid of the silver chain!

I just got this one the other day!! My BF bought it for me!! :yahoo:

I LOVE it!!

^^Congrats, that's too cute!
Actually, be really careful of letting any alcohol based products touch the necklaces. I put perfume on and let it dry before I put the necklace on just to be sure it doesn't come directly into contact with it. Here's what the TT site says about it:

JEWELRY CARE
Tarina Tarantino jewelry is created with the finest materials & components available. Any color variation or slight deficiencies are due to the handmade nature of these designs. By following these simple tips, your jeweled pieces will keep sparkling for years to come...

Always remove jewelry and/or hair accessories when washing hands, showering, or swimming. Moisture can cause stones to dull and become loose.

Avoid spraying or applying any alcohol or oil-based products such as; perfume, hairspray, body lotions, cleansers or hair grooming products on or near the jewelry including hair accessory pieces. The alcohol or oil content will cause Lucite beads to crack, will dull the finish and loosen the crystals, and cause metal parts to discolor or tarnish.

Never expose jewelry or hair accessory pieces to extreme heat or direct sunlight over long periods of time as this can cause colors to fade.

To clean your jewelry and hair accessories use a dry soft cloth. Never submerge in cleaning solution or water.

OK so anyone who needs anything repaired, go to tarinatarantino.com and email customer service; detail the exact problem and where you got it, etc. In a couple of days they'll email you back to let you know that it's repairable (contrary to what the FAQ says) and you'll need to include the confirmation number on the box you send it back in, and a $13 check and they'll repair it for you.
Just wanted to let people know. :smile1:

i love TT accessories...especially the pink head and barbie collection....

i think the stones hold up pretty well since i never really have a problem with mine

I was into TT a while back but now i guess I grew out of it, i'm starting to think that it's not really worth the money....for the same price i'm better off getting Tiffany silver jewelry which will i'll be able to wear a lifetime :)
