No release date yet in the US but it is rumored to be the same price as the current Tank Must, at least for the ones with the leather strap. They are showing on the UAE site for the same price as the current ones so the rumors here are probably true. I did not see the one with the SS band.
Just got some internal news that it's delayed. No new date set.
I was wondering if it got delayed… Hodinkee had one for review in August and they seem to be a big site for watch enthusiasts so it‘s unfortunate that Cartier hasn’t really commented on the delay. The September release date has been out there since April and the Solarbeat got a lot of press…
Hmmm, better wait until you have a perfect product before shipping something unfinished.
Just checked the Cartier website. The Solar Beat is displayed online but you can't order online. It says to order online or contact your ambassador. From what I read before, it was supposed to be $2480 and $2610, for the S and L, respectively, but is actually $2610 and $2740. How was their a price increase before it actually offiically released? 
So I heard from Cartier customer service online that the boutiques will be getting a 2nd release this week! If you can't get it through your local boutique they are taking orders by phone.

Any intel if they’re releasing a 2nd batch of the new tank must colored dials (green, red and blue)? Also would LOVE to see mod shots of the new solar beat both are on my wish list ❤❤ I can’t believe it doesn’t need to be serviced for 16 years this is a MUST for me lol
Sorry I don't have any info on the colored tank must, but they are beautiful aren't they? I may be in the minority here, but I don't care for automatic watches. I don't like my watches on winders all the time and I hate having to set the date and time each and every time I wear my Rolexes. I don't mind quartz movement. I love being able to pick up my watch and have the time be accurate. I love that Cartier is doing a solar powered watch! Will come back and post pics once I secure mine.

Thank you !!While the technology is not new, the way Cartier chose to integrate it into it's existing Tank line is so cool. What's also neat is no other luxe jewerly/watch brand is doing this. Way to go Cartier! It's nice that Cartier is making it more accessible to more people who normally couldn't afford Cartier.
