Tank Francoise Small or Panthere Small

I think both are equally classic, it’s just a matter of preference. The tank is a bit bulkier, more substantial, and more of a watch-like piece. It is more masculine and casual to me, especially with the brushed links. The panthere, in contrast, is more feminine and bracelet-like. It’s much shinier and a little dressier. I think it really just depends on what your personal style is and what vibe you’re going for!

Yup! This exactly. And seeing both on you, I strongly prefer the Panthere. It is much more versatile. You can dress it up or down. IMO, it looks equally good with jeans and a t-shirt as it does with a business suit, or even dresses.

The tanks to me, end up looking dated because watch styles change so much over the years, but the Panthere has more classic lines and is so thin that it just always seems to look modern yet classic. It just really works with everything.

Full disclosure: my dream watch is the 2-tone Panthere! :)

When do you expect to make your decision?

I hope soon. 😉 There are no Cartier stores in my country, so it's a bit complicated, but I'm traveling soon...

I see here that a lot of women wear a lot of jewelry, a lot of bracelets with a watch. That's not my style. When it comes to jewelry, I am a minimalist.
I don't wear much jewelry - just my wedding rings on my left hand.
I would wear the watch on my left hand without any bracelets. (I wear the bracelet on my right hand)
That's why I want a watch that won't be too big, that I can wear all the time. And which will be a classic, for life time.

I think the panthere does a good job at looking both watch-like and bracelet-like. That's why it dresses both up and down so well. Either choice is great though, and I'm excited to see what you choose! :)

I have both these watches (OG versions), not the new models and after not wearing my Panthere for a few years, I have grown to love it more than the tank. For one thing, it is much lighter in weight and delicate. My tank is SS/Gold and while I think that is out of favor, it has sentimental value, so I'll continue to wear it occasionally.
