I'm closer to 5'10" and the bag intimidated me in the store. I don't know about you girls, but I tend to fill a bag if I have it out for a few days. So, I kept thinking how heavy it would be when I filled it ;)

Yes, they have the Pilot version in some flagship stores.

The Pilot version is limited--but the style is supposed to be released under a regular style # in November or December.

Which version did you order--34398 or 34398P?

Oh god, I am not sure!!! I thought 34398, but they may have given me 34398p. I certainly didn't include the p when I called. I just called about availability and she said three, but it won't ship until first week of November. Who knows, they could cancel the order by then.

You are probably getting the regular style--not the Pilot bag.

The Pilot bag is available in stores now so it would make sense that if they were going to send you the pilot, they would have done it immediately vs. November. Of course, this is my logic not Coach logic! LOL :roflmfao:

In any case, it's a really nice bag and I am sure you will love it!!

I hope so. The only other bag I ordered sight unseen was really terrible. I am a little anxious about what actually arrives, but it isn't as if they eliminated the return policy all together!!!

Plus, you'll have time to see if Macy's or any department stores put it on sale in November. That's a great time for a sale--and a price match!

I used the Workwear Tall Tatum Tote as a university bag for quite some time. I was able to get the handles over my shoulder —so it wasn’t a bother to carry despite putting books and a laptop inside.

I truly enjoyed the bag, but it was the color that I came to dislike. I wish they had made a black version because the outside pocket was very useful. I ended up selling it.

I use both the whiplash tatum, and the workwear first for school, then for a work back. Like MonsieurMode, I'm able to get the handles over my shoulder, and the tote is amazingly durable with all the books and a full-size 15" laptop inside. Can't think of a single thing I don't like about it!
