I like this leather. But I like swift and eversoft/grain too.
i have seen this leather in quite a few colours in Jiges and HAC. Strangely, they do not appeal to me at all. Somehow the colors i have seen (grisolet, cardamon, black) seem to be paler, like swift. But they do not get scratch as easily as swift.
I am not sure if Tadelakt comes in Rouge H.

I like tadelakt leather, it's very supple and has a nice feel in it. I have a Bearn wallet and a semainier both in fauve, a color that looks great in this leather (similar to natural barenia, with white stiches). It scratches, but not as easily as box.
I had a choice between 2 etoupe KCs with PH, one tadelakt and the other swift. I chose the tadelakt because it had a nice sheen compared to the swift, which looked almost completely matte.
I still prefer box for birkins and kellys, but I think tadelakt is great for clutches. It's really silky to the touch and feels lovely. I used my KC last night and couldn't stop stroking it, much to the amusement of DH, who said I had to stroke his arm too!
Oh, and the price difference was negligible - 2450 Euros for swift and 2400 Euros for tadelakt.

I saw a griolet constance over the weekend -- absolutely gorgeous and yes, more violet looking.
