anyone with the swinger 20 wear it with the short strap? is it too small to wear under the shoulder?
I picked one up during the Insider sale. Got it in.black. I think it's gorgeous in black. I don't know how often I would use the shoulder strap; it's nice to have options . Probably would use it more as a crossbody. Of course, I have many smaller crossbody bags, but I wanted one that was a bit more contemporary. I already have the LV pochette accessoires. I really like the newer version-- it's a cross between the original Swinger and the little Coach pochette that came out in the early 2000s. I think it was a small shoulder bag. And that didn't have the long shoulder strap. I think it retailed for about $129. And that's what this little bag reminded me of.

Very excited that I waited to purchase! I just got the coach swinger in white for 25% off and 10% cashback!!! If I hadn't spent so much in April, I would be purchasing it in black too! Maybe later on this year if they have another great deal like this

I tried to resist this. Purchased this one. It was a good deal, because I know I would wear a red bag. I think the the chain is beautiful, but will probably wear it crossbody. It hasn't arrived yet so fingers crossed.
The last 25% discount event I did purchase the swinger in Black. That is truly a versatile classic.
I had purchased the teal Swinger on sale awhile ago, but it arrived without the strap so I returned it. I purchased this red one as soon as I saw it. I will be able to use red more (than teal that was returned) and it comes with two straps instead of one!
This red Swinger was originally sold in Malaysia from what I found while researching it. It wasn't in the U.S. until now, on the outlet site. I missed out on the wine version and missed the amazing deal on the black one at Macys.
That was an amazing deal. I tried to pick that up for somebody else who really liked my black one. (That same day I picked up the Kip for an amazing price at Macy's. People don't like their packaging, but they are a good source for bargain Coach. )
I just opened my apple red Swinger, still in factory wrapping. It is a stunning bag and I can see myself wearing it on a daily basis. The burnished brass hardware compliments that vintage red. I love that all the stitching is uniform in color; as much as I love my black Swinger, if I could nitpick, it would be the contrast stitching against the black. I'm glad that I got it, because they are sold out. It's all thanks to Google Chrome! I think I typed "Coach sale" and it brought up an image of a red Swinger. That's how I snapped up the $105 Cassie, btw.
