Tomorrow, I'm picking up mine. I'm super excited. It is so gorgeous. I called JAX and there are about 40+ left. I'm not sure if that includes store inventory.

I bought my first Swagger yesterday at the sale, it is the double swagger in tobacco with black copper hardware 25133 PB TOB. It retails for $795 and I got it at 50% off for $397.50.
I love the bag but I have a concern. It was sealed in plastic and foam when I got it home and unwrapped it and all I did was set it on my kitchen table (a smooth laminate surface.) I haven't loaded it up or carried it but already all 4 of the feet are slightly scratched and showing shiny metal, see the pics below.
I know that if I take it back they will get another one for me, but I am concerned that the hardware will continue to scratch, especially where the strap clips to the bag loops.
I am not too worried about scratches on the bottoms of the feet, but just the overall way that the hardware might wear over time. How has coach handled issues with black hardware scratches and chips in the past?
Has anyone heard of hardware problems with this bag? Maybe I should take it back and order the apricot? Would you keep it or return it?

If you also like how the apricot looks, I would get that one just to have the brass hardware. Maybe other owners can chime in, but as far as I know black copper has been an issue for many; since I no longer live close to a store where the associates will take care of me, I've opted to avoid it altogether. Until Coach produces it more like how they do their gunmetal, bp is merely coated, and will chip away eventually. That said, if you love the particular color of the bag, then keep it; I would explore other options, just because even at 50% off it's a lot of potential headache to go over, should the problem worsen. GL!
Thanks, I am starting to feel the same way! I like the Apricot but I already have a hobo style bag in apricot with brass hardware, and I don't think that I need 2 apricot and brass bags!
I feel you...waiting to see if my rogue will ship out, and going to decide between that at the bandit 39! Both of them are peony with brass hardware. For some reason Coach is not producing much in brass, so when I see a desired color combo I had to jump! So hard to choose without seeing them irl though, but need to send one back! Someone has a car insurance to pay soon lol
For what it's worth I just looked over my three rogues. Melon rogue has had lots of use and looks like your new swagger and I think it did new. I didn't really question it cuz it was pretty much the same on each foot. Mine was fully wrapped. Looking at it now it looks the same to me as it did new. The hardware in other parts is perfect. Feet on brass rogue are actually worse. All other brass is perfect.
My Apricot Double Swagger was so well wrapped. It looks so amazing. I'm so excited and think I want another color.
just got mine today as well; beautifully wrapped, beautiful color and perfect size. now of course i'm coveting the tobacco one as well -- i usually end up with two of the styles i love (spring/fall? or just gluttony?)

I didn't even take a second look at the double swagger until coming across thus thread and your post. I'm sending you my cc bill! Easier to blame you than my lack of impulse control when it comes to coach.
Thankfully this is the only color on sale that interests me.

I hope you love the bag. The color is beautiful and the design is really nice. I've loved it since it was first released. Now, I'm trying not to buy another color.
I need to take a break from tPF and go to BAN island. Coach should not have a Disney release at retail and outlet. I'm so glad I did not love any of the purses at the outlet. I did buy retail Disney Duffle 20, Bashful Foldover Crossbody Clutch and Happy, Sleeping Beauty & Spooky Eyes bag charms. Also, I went to the outlet this week and bought 3 Nomad (Burnished Saddle, Forest and regular glove tanned Black) bags. I'm giving one to a friend, but I did not need anymore, but it is really hard to resist 70% off.
Congrats! As you stated, it is a wonderful bag. I do not think we will regret this purchase. I want another color, but I need to stop. I purchased too many bags recently, including Disney collection at retail and Nomads at outlet for 70% off.
However, when I picked up my Spooky Eyes Duffle 20, I really looked at the Bandit and now I think I must have one, especially the Dusty Rose with tea rose details. It is an amazing bag and really well made.
i've bought one bandit on the bay, the smaller size. i love the dusty rose with tea rose, but just found the larger size bandit too floppy. what i love about the swagger is the structure. would love the tobacco, hoping it sells out before i commit. too many bags in my closet now.
Usually store and JAX inventory are kept separate, so that should be just how many they have in the warehouse. Congrats!
Anybody here own both the regular and double swagger? Any preference for one over the other? I'm also trying to figure out the shoulder strap on the double swagger-are there two straps that's stacked on top of each other? Do they stay put when you wear the bag?
I've just learned that William Shakespeare invented the word "swagger" and he used it basically to say someone was "strutting his stuff". That Will Shakespeare was a smart guy and it's a great name for a beautiful bag!
