I think Escale prices are set since the official waitlists/preorders for some CAs started awhile ago. My guess is everything that looks cheaper in classic collection now will be going ^UP^ a lot - possibly making these LE prices less stark in comparison
Honestly, I think we all forgot the 2x a year routine of price increases at LV... making it feel so much worse now!
Yeah but remember when the multipochette came out and those that preordered paid like $1500 and then right before launch it went up to $1640 (was supposed to be $1650 which LV later decided to waive 10 bucks lol) not sure if there were other increases involved then...

Twice a year--I thought it was like once in the beginning of the year and second at the end of the year...there was just one in January and some of the same items are going up again in less than 2 months!? And the overall major increases used to occur every 4 years or something like that...now it looks like it's gonna happen every year...it just seems too frequent that's all...
