Just got off the phone with a super nice LV SA. She said not to handle the Escale pieces if you've got hand sanitizer on your hands. Wait until it dries first. It will remove the color and leave a white patch she said. And don't wipe down your LV products with any type of sanitizing wipe. Whoops...I've been wiping the bottom of my Totally with Lysol wipes. Should probably stop that...But now we know!!

This is for all canvas pieces and leather of course, not just Escale (which is why LV posted that warning on their product pages). The canvas has a coating-it is coated canvas after all-and repeated exposure may dissolve/compromise the coating and damage the canvas. @south-of-france I believe all canvas is “printed”. But that’s not the same as silk screen printed which is different. The silk screen print designs are on top of the coated part of coated canvas whereas non silk screen (“regular” canvas) is under the coat. Escale is not silk screen.
Here’s a test for you, I did this on regular monogram canvas as well. Hand sanitizer left for 10 seconds imitating a spill. Wiped off and no damage, no white patches. I actually did this twice - first photo a small puddle of hand sanitizer and second photo dots of hand sanitizer. If you are careful and wipe immediately and do not use hand sanitizer to purposely clean you will be fine.

I got my shipping notice, finally! They certainly make you put in the work to hand over your paychecks, don't they?! This will be my first NF... truth be told I've always given them the cold shoulder because the monogram NF is absolutely everywhere around here, and at the risk of raising the ire of LV lovers, I've always thought they were too unoriginal for the price of admission. But I love me a good tote bag. I've never been able to adapt to the compact bag trend from a utility standpoint. I like the option of throwing everything in my bag. Even tho aesthetically my favorite is the NeoNoe by a mile, the utility just isn't there for me. I operate solely on my iPhone. Don’t use laptops, iPads, etc. just my little 7 plus iPhone.
I go to all websites through safari. And yesterday I too was able to get the escale NF in pastel. It still says order in preparation. Hope it ships.

I was curious how Escale pink compares to Rose Ballerine (more warm toned) but surprisingly it’s even more cool toned than Zoe’s Water Rose. Love them all - or how I like to say 50 shades of pink

Still no update on my pastel NF. I got shipping info on the 21st. I’m assuming, besides of course COVID-19, it’s a holiday weekend so I should expect delays. However, It appears only the label was generated and it still hasn’t arrived at UPS.
That’s the same message I had gotten on the 21st. It also says Details Not Yet Available.

Yes indeed dear one! I have had a few items sit in the UPS system with no status change, then next time I look it shows as having arrived at my local ups distribution center.
