You're welcome my friendOmg you’re so sweet SB! Thank you so muchhugs*
How bizarre! Congrats on getting your NF! Can’t wait to see some photos when it arrives!I haven't posted to tpf in years, and never to the LV forum. Mostly just come here for research. Thought I'd share an interesting experience I had the last few days trying to get an escale NF online.
I was late to the game on the escale collection. But when I saw it I fell. Decided on a NF and initially thought I was out of luck and turned to ebay, where the prices were so outrageous i decided there was absolutely no way, I'd live without it. The bags are crazy enough after the price increases. So I started stalking the site, adding my email to "notify me." Over the course of three or four days of checking the site and a few notification emails, I noticed that every darn bag except the NF was coming up for purchase.
At one point two nights ago the browser on my Mac (safari) went from "notify me" to "call for availability". So I did. Twice. The first CSR said "nope. gone. never coming back. no chance. out out stock. done with production.... basically... bummer for you, sister, better luck next time." So I called back and got a much friendlier CSR who said, "none in stores that i can see, but keep your eye on the site, they could restock."
Following up on what someone said earlier about the bags showing up at intervals throughout the day, which I had noticed with all of the other styles, I decided to open every browser I had on all of my devices. At the same time, I had Safari, Explorer, Chrome and Firefox opened between my work and personal computers, and I had both of my cell phones open to the mobile sites.
Cutting to the chase... at one point mid-morning yesterday, the pastel and rouge NFs restocked... but only on certain browsers. My Safari NEVER changed from "call for availability." Chrome stayed at "place in cart" for a while, and then alternated back and forth between PIC and Notify, and then went back to "Notify" permanently. Explorer, a browser I never use, had availability the longest. Even after all of my other devices were being iffy, it kept PIC available for a good bit longer. The same thing unfolded a few hours later when cosmetic pouches, mini pochette, neo noe and bleu NF restocked. I have NO earthly idea why this would be the case, but it was so odd to me that I kept experimenting even after I'd finally gotten my bag. Safari never did show availability, stayed on "CFA" even after I cleared history. Maybe my IP address had "worn out its welcome" with the LV website and it cut me off... IDK just very strange and another angle to try if you're still looking.
