It says on top of the order RETURNED, where it used to say PENDING CUSTOMER RETURN. So I knew for for absolute sure they had received it, along with the tracking of course. They also send a "received your return email", followed not too long later by an email of the receipt showing the credit.

Returns went actually very smoothly for me, despite the ongoing situation.

My last Escale piece arrived... this was initially the only thing that caught my eye. I love scarves. And it didn’t disappoint.

On IG there were some complaints that the fabric feels thin, and it is, but not cheaply so. Of course this is a bit pricey and a $600 CAD price tag would be more appropriate IMO but it seems the Escale pieces are all marked up a bit more than other seasonal collections.

this is the type of piece I’d love to bring with me to a Carribbean vacation for breezy nights. Too bad that won’t happen this year!

Some mod shots. Lovely as a wrap, a shawl, a scarf (how I would wear this a majority of the time). Please don’t mind my cat loaf tee LOL.

And here’s the final damage I took... from not loving this collection at all to owning 4 pieces....

I actually really love the red colour way now but the number of SLG styles offered are so limited. Would have loved a red Mini Pochette or the Zoe. Or a smaller Toiletry like the 19?

my experience: example-returned receive on Wednesday, confirmation email of return and credit amount (you will receive 2 emails) on Friday or Monday and it’s in your bank account in 1-2 days depending on your bank..

omg, congrats on that shawl !!!! and thank you for the mod shots. I was wondering about how it looked in real life. I would wear it very similarly. I don't buy that many shawls, though I would love to, bc I know I'll snag them. I barely ever wear my kabuki one bc I am deathly afraid to damage it. I'm too rough lol. What a beauty. Especially for when we can vacation in the tropics again.

I owned a monogram shawl (the silk blend one) for a few days. It was a treat for myself in Hong Kong, I forgot about all the crazy air conditioning in the buildings and subway and wanted something to keep me warm when I’m inside. Within the first wear I snagged it! It kept happening, it would catch on random things I couldn’t see. And since my hands get really dry, even my skin was snagging it. Finally I took it back to LV and was up front and honest, told them I had only used it a few times and there were already various visible snags, and asked if there was any way I could exchange it for something else? They took it back no questions asked and I ended up getting a pair of sunglasses instead (which I still have, 13 years later!) That was some fine customer service.

I took more photos of this scarf. My dark carpet helps bring out the pattern more but I do love that it’s not in-your-face LV because the colours are so soft, it hides the monogram well.

And you’ll see from this photo...It’s huge! In fact because it’s so wide, if I just do the one loop around my neck (without the crossover), it’s nice and fluffy.

This won’t be completely snag proof, but I can see it wear a little better than my silk scarves, and most definitely better than the monogram shawls.

I partially blame TPF for being such an enabling community but the pastel pieces, which I thought were so childish and busy in photos, are just so much better IRL.
Also, in times like these I think I needed something colourful to cheer me up. The last 6 LV things I bought were all colourful.

Yes tpf does a number on me too - sometimes I think “whew, glad I don’t like that one” to oh my dog I have to have it! People here (NOT ME of course ) are terrible enablers. I agree the collection really is gorgeous IRL. My NF and mini pochette in pastel cheer me up most days as the bag sits on the couch with me while I work. I love this scarf and it is huge - that makes it an extremely versatile piece.

PS and what lovely service you shared in your other post, those were the days! And to still have the sunnies, perfect trade.

I love all of those details you shared. I do that too, if I'm in a place where I need something and I'm near a store, I usually treat myself. Something magical and super special feeling about doing that (IMO). That doesn't happen so much now since I'm more of a house woman with kids lol. But back in the NYC days !! Ah I miss those days so much. SoHo store.

The monogram shawls are so beautiful. If I knew I could be more careful and graceful I would have so many more. I kind of use them as light jacket replacements lol. I totally understand what you're saying. Talk about customer service ! That sounds like the good ol' days. Good for you for having that stellar experience. That's how it should always be. Love hearing that you still have the sunnies. An ode to the good ol' quality also. Lol. I am obsessed with the size of that stole. I love to be able to wrap myself and make it fluffy, too. Can see what you mean about being able to be a little more discreet with the partial submergence of the monogram. So gorgeous all around. And 100% cotton so if you need to hand wash I see that being of ease ! Enjoy that beauty.

Haha ! I feel like so many of us, and in general, were like "wow my wallet is safe from that awful escale".... fast forward and how many pieces do we have, if even just one from this collection (and most of us have and are lusting/chasing after many more). They are all SO insanely uplifting and pretty IRL. Completely agree the photos do them no favors. Especially the pastel color way. I think it might be my favorite color since multicolore. MAYBE. just maybe.

All since last month everything has been all cheery colors here too. Even other things not LV (shhh). And that says a lot considering black white and neutrals are pretty much all this woman wears. Lol.

AND I'm still crossing my fingers until I pass the "order shipped" spot on the LV game board. But, look !!

Oh, what a great idea! This would make a lovely travel brush holder. Not that I pack many brushes when I travel (or have anywhere to travel to anytime soon ).
