Suggestions for Compact Wallet - Go!

I recently purchased the LV enveloppe Carte de visite from the men’s line and am finding it to be the perfect small wallet! It’s super compact and so functional!

A lot of great suggestions. All I can say is look into men’s wallet/card holders. They’ve been compact for years! For ages I was using a limited edition LV men’s pocket organizer which fits everything that I need and always get compliments.
Loewe also make great compact wallets

LV Zippy coin purse is my absolute favorite for the past 7 years or so. It’s perfect.

Thank you all for your suggestions and personal experiences/thoughts. I did REALLY like the LV Victorine when I saw it in the store... I am definitely going to make another trip out and see if I can check out the men's wallet/card holders and the zippy coin purse. Although I think I did check out the Zippy Coin Purse, but I'd really like to have card slots.

Thank you so much for this suggestion! I had not considered Mulberry but I really like this style and the look, and it looks like it has both the functionality I'm looking for without becoming too bulky or large.

I likeGucci leather wallet. I have it for years and it is in great shape. I like “ forever” things. This is one of them.

It is also small enough to fit in mini Plume and does not take too much space in Kelly 28. To me, it is perfect.

Thank you for the suggestion! I do like the clean look and the outside zip, but was really hoping to find something with card slots. However I'll definitely check out the website or maybe go in-store to see if there are other similar styles.

So after some more thought, I have settled on four candidates:

- Mulberry Small Continental French Purse
- Celine Compact Zipped Wallet in Grained Calfskin
- LV Victorine Wallet in in Scarlet Monogram Empreinte Leather
- Hermes Silk'In Compact Wallet

I do prefer the zip closures of the Celine and Hermes wallets, but I liked the layout of the Mulberry wallet quite a bit with its location of the zip pouch. I will have to reserve judgement there until I can see how it feels/looks in person.

I also liked how the Victorine Wallet looked and felt when I browsed in-store. I was quite impressed with the texture of the leather and how supple it felt, but the wallet is also beautifully crafted and everything is spaced out well. The SA noted the pocket for bills, but IMO if the wallet folds my bills, it's almost as horrible as folding them myself, so having a pocket for bills is not a huge factor for me. That said, it is definitely a beautiful compact wallet and I absolute adore the color of the scarlet monogram empreinte leather.

I liked the idea of having something from Hermes, but I think I might table the Hermes option for now because I do highly prefer a full-leather interior, which I do believe all three of the others have. I have yet to check out the Celine or Mulberry options in person, but if the Celine is anything like my long zip, I know I will love it if they have other color options, like a beautiful red or forest green.

For me, the most important aspect is size - both the length x width, but also the thickness/depth. I've been able to size down comfortably to 3-4 cards for daily use so any of these options should be able to comfortably carry everything I would typically need, and since I plan to use these in my smaller bags, space is at a real premium and compactness is what I'm looking for. I don't mind carrying my continental wallet in my larger bags or when I know I'll be carrying bills (completely unfolded and flat!), but while nice to have I definitely want something that can be used in my smaller bags so I can fit other things.

I’ve had mine for just over 2 years now, I will be honest and say the button does look a little bit grubby but I think that now it’s not so new I’m not that worried about it. My matching key holder button looks fine though and I’ve had that for the same amount of time. I think I may have put a little bit of clear nail polish on that one. I think unfortunately the buttons will probably get a bit worn depending on use, I haven’t been hugely careful or babied mine and it wouldn’t put me off buying one again. Hope that helps.

I initially found a couple from the Gucci x Disney collections, though neither appealed to me 100% (which for me is a sign I should sit on my hands and not buy), for different reasons - the canvas/leather because I did want a full-leather wallet, and the GG Marmont was unfortunately in white!! I think if it had been in a dark color, like black, I would definitely have purchased it sight unseen.



What I like is there aren't too many card slots but it looks roomy enough to fit what I need, has an interior zip pocket that is recessed slightly (so the zipper pull doesn't damage the inside of the wallet where it folds together), and even has the slip pocket for bills.

However, because I liked the design of the wallet itself I checked their website for similar designs, and sure enough there are a few different ones. I'm a little bummed that the Disney ones won't work for me because I do love Disney, but clearly it wasn't meant to be.

They are cute, but I agree, I wouldn't get signature nor white, although I like the ophidia print. I like the Dionysus coin purse but I really shouldn't. It is very impractical with the hardware taking up so much room.
