Did a one in one out for pants today. A pair uniqlo trousers were fading and pilly. The other two left are heading that way.

So I found a pair of DVF capris that fit me like skinny ankle length trousers [emoji23] for $20 I can't complain.

Ugh I fail at bans. So full story of what else I bought/got.

I was doing well with a one in one out with a pair of work trousers, then DBF surprises me with a Burberry shirt that I could wear as a tunic.

And then he points out there's Toms I can buy to send to my younger cousins in the Philippines, and some how two pairs are for me. DBF said I could use them for our upcoming Hawaii trip since I don't like sandals.

So now I have two new shoes. I won't count DBFs gift to me against my ban, but the shoes totally got me.

It didn't break the bank, or exceed my starting budget of $200 a month, but still. This is actually really hard.

DBF is such an enabler. [emoji85]

Yeah, that's true, for the Toms promise and the fact that I'm sending them to the Philippines. I got two pairs for myself and like 8 pairs to send to my cousins. They're all pink and red but they didn't seem to care haha. All the kids are so excited for them.

I told them we'd match too, they thought it's hilarious I fit in kids shoes.

Gotta find boy shoes. Haha. I had gotten the guys good deals on sports stuff last shipment, so it seems to alternate between the boys and girls.

So like a year ago, I didn't like toms. Now I love them. I guess it just had to be the right pattern at the right price.

Must say toms are a bit addictive because when you find them at the right price, you can rationalize having lots. I'm down to 3-4 pairs. And now thinking about it I probably should lose at least one pair since I haven't worn in forever but they really are the perfect summer shoe.

I buy at $10-20 each. I'm picky on the color lol.
I have 4 now [emoji85]

But they really are good for summer when I don't want to wear my Ferragamos/LV/leather shoes.

I'm going to be good. I'm going to add the two least awesome Toms to give to my relatives (one glitter and one tweed). I'll only need two to alternate for casual days, so I'll keep my favorite blue pair and the floral glitter pair.

I'm returning a blouse and a tee as well, they aren't love as much as the two blouses I got.

I'm going to avoid the rack now, I have to avoid going back to old habits of buying everything I like but not necessarily love and can use.

You're doing great! It looks fantastic. Everything in your closet is much prettier than what one can find in the stores right now anyway! :D
