I have a dilemma. As I've entered the Hermes world and aquired their pieces, I've discovered that I do not wear my other designer bags. I may average wearing them about three to five times a month. I don't want to part with my other bags, but my preference has been to wear my H goodies. I feel that my other bags deserve their time to shine more often. I've thought about selling them, but it would be too painful. :crybaby:Has anyone been down this road?
Oh I have definitely been down this road. But instead of feeling like :crybaby: I feel like :yahoo::wlae::jammin:. I didn't sell me bags I just kept them and enjoyed them when I was in the mood for them.

I don't like clutter either so tend to 'rid' myself of the bags that I really don't use. If you don't love a bag then let someone else love it...at least that's how I feel.

Tamarind and callmelulu, thank you both for the great advice! I've been sitting on bags and shoes for about 2 years that I'll never use again and I just want to declutter now. Can't believe how a baby changes everything! Thanks again for the help.

You are welcom lula888. You will feel so good decluttering. I got rid of so many bags and it felt wonderful to have the space (and a little extra money to fill the space with ... more H!) and I never missed them. Good luck to you.

I seem to be using only my gold Birkin, too. I've been collecting H scarfs so everything "goes". I get too lazy to change bags. Then I bought charms and they "go" and make my one bag unique. I have several lovely Chanels, LV, Fendi, Prada, Gucci, Judith Leiber. All in MINT condition because I don't use them. I've had a LV Manhattan PM for over a year...never used, sits in a dust bag...stuffed. I'm afraid to sell because it's a hassle and I always THINK I'll use these damn bags...sometime. I wish I had that "anti-clutter gene" some members have talked about.

I definitely have the ANTI-clutter gene. My sister gets EVERYTHING!! She was not so blessed with the anti-clutter gene, but rather the "sure I'll take it" gene. Her collection is quite nice I must say! :roflmfao: What we have done is to rotate handbags and watches. It works quite well as she is clear across the country...so when I get things back and trade, it's like getting all new stuff again! She has been eyein'g the olive birdie though....rut row...

It is a lot of fun to trade and rotate with a sister. Doubtful I could do it with a friend though...blood is definitely thicker. She could spill coffee all over my things and I would be ok with it... not sure I could be like that with a friend. I am most certainly NOT that nice!!! :graucho: Wish I could be though...
