I bought this off Etsy and the snap things you attach to the bag slide up the handles and end up there. They don’t stay down at each side of the bag handle. Nice concept, bad execution. It was pretty useless for my needs. I threw it away.

wow that is disappointing. It so the tabs that go into the bottom of the open strap area dont hold it in place, bummer

I paired the SSH black club with the etoiles cuir strap. The bag is loaded with a water bottle, umbrella and a yoga towel. I thought the weight might cause the small leather tabs to slide up but they stay put as there is a small leather pointy part that inserts into the hollow part of the handles. However, I do not think this look is flattering on me (bag is hanging too low). I'll probably wear this bag with a shorter strap instead.

I did the conversion by adding grommets yesterday, with my pouches. I’m not much of a hand carry person, so I’m happy to use them as little crossbody bags.

I’ve added grommets to all my pouch with handle bags. Turned out great. Just make sure you use the correct size grommets for the bag you’re using, and it should be fine.

This is the kit I purchased for the pouch with handle. Around $10 usd. They have a 1/4 inch diameter opening.
