I think its a really interesting piece. I love that you can see some veining on the stone and that every bean will be slightly different. I say you should get it!

It is such a lovely piece, by far my favorite from the bean collection. I love gold and lapis together, especially if the piece of lapis has those little gold specks in it. Please post pix when you get it! I would love to see modeling shots!!!!!

Yes that is a great reminder! Lapis lazuli will sometimes have the gold flecks in it. I would ask to see all the ones they have in stock; maybe one of the stones will have pretty gold flecks in it!
I do have a slight concern though; you like white metals the most like I do, and when I dabble in yellow gold territory, I end up not wearing it as much as I thought I would. Just my 2 cents!

One thing I would check out is how it looks from a distance. I love how YG or WG gives you that flash of shine from a distance, I'm a little worried that this will look like there is something ON your neck.

Oh well, I've finally decided to hold on on the bean necklace for a while... I do like it and it sits really pretty on (+ yellow gold looks nice with a tan), but I've just bought a platinum/diamond pendant (finally decided on which one I want to get!), beating the price increase :boxing:, and small diamond studs. So, I'll save the bean for later
