Hmm, I'm feeling very very strange lately... Can't stop thinking about lapis lazuli bean necklace in yg... That's strange for me, because I always wear white gold and always prefer to invest in wg and diamonds. So, what's with this dark blue bean? Just can't get over it...

Do you, ladies, think it will be a silly purchase, that I'll get tired of it in to time? I really hate to buy something I wouldn't wear everyday...

Do you think it will go with wg/diamonds wedding band, diamond studs and white Chanel J12 (that's what I wear every day)?
This bean is 15mm wide, a bit bigger than simple yg bean.

Lapis Lazuli is gorgeous in real life. I've debated getting the bead version for my line soooo many times but will be waiting to do that for fall.

If the price is good, you should go for it. However, being that it's a colored stone, it might not be as "classic" for long term wear.

Wow, I've never seen that in real life but now I want to! I love the contrast between the blue and gold, I personally don't have any issue with mixing wg/yg, so I think it would be fine to wear with your current pieces. This necklace doesn't totally seem like an "everyday" necklace to me, but it sure is pretty! With the impending Tiffany's price increase, if you want it I say go for it!

I mix white gold and yellow gold all the time. My daily set is a white gold and diamond necklace and yellow gold with moonstone earrings. As long as the general "style" goes, you're good. I'd wear it with plain diamond studs or thinner hoops, to keep it balanced.

I love lapis! I still regret that I didn't buy a lapis bead necklace when I was in Florence a few years ago. At any rate, I don't think lapis is going out of style anytime soon and I wouldn't worry about mixing metals.

Thank you ladies, you reassured me a little :)
The necklace look SO much more appealing in real life vs pictures, so I guess I'll go for it :) I'll be in LA on 16th, hope the price increase would not kick in yet... Sigh... With all this information floating around you never know for sure... US prices is lower then Canadian, so I prefer to buy Tiffany pieces there...

It is such a lovely piece, by far my favorite from the bean collection. I love gold and lapis together, especially if the piece of lapis has those little gold specks in it. Please post pix when you get it! I would love to see modeling shots!!!!!
