I'm in search of a necklace that I will receive as a wedding gift and I will be wearing this on my wedding day. I like simple styles that are feminine and with a bit of design. I also would like to choose a piece that I can wear after the wedding as well. Which necklace would you choose? Thanks in advance for the feedback!

I choose the fourth one!

Definitely the Camellia - it sounds like it's the one you love and it's very distinctive. Personally, if I didn't have a dress yet and was making a decision like this I'd do the jewelry first and pick the dress to go with it - if you think about it you will wear the dress once but you will wear the necklace throughout your life and will always be reminded of the day by it.

I guess I'll have to wait until after the dress shopping this week and then decide. That's if I find the one! The good thing is that most votes are for the camelia or the fleurette. They are both very floral and I love that. Thanks everyone for all the great advice. :flowers:

I passed by the Chanel boutique earlier today in BH and I saw the large camellia displayed in the window (I didn't go in). It was HUMONGOUS! So I would imagine the smaller camellia to be a great, substantial size. I can't wait to see what you pick!

OP, it's hard to say without knowing how they'd look against your dress. By default I'd say #4 because it's classic, timeless, and won't detract from the dress or your beauty. When the big day comes you want your radiance to stand out, not the accessories :smile1:

If you want to use the necklace for more day-to-day purposes though I think you know your likes best so go for what you imagine yourself wearing! They're all great choices.

You're right. Today, will be my first appointment with the bridal salon. :smile1: I'm sure that after this visit, I will know what type of dress I'm leaning towards.

I'm really looking for something that I like so I don't want to buy this piece just for the day of the wedding. Thanks for your great advice!

I wasn't expecting to try on these necklaces yesterday, but my sweet DF insisted that we go to get a feel of them around my necklace. :p So, of course, I was excited to try on all these beauties. To my surprise, I did not end up liking the 4 choices that I posted earlier. Here are two of the necklaces that are big contenders now. My DF said that when I had these necklaces on, my face just lit up/shined. Haha...silly him. Let me know what you think! Thanks again in advance! :hugs:

I personally like the HW Lily Cluster, have you tried that on? I think that is the most unique piece and versatile at the same time. Have you looked at the HW cluster pendant?

Thanks for your feedback! :flowers: I have not tried the Lily Cluster on but thought it was interesting. However, it was mentioned before that it looked somewhat similar to a celtic symbol, which I also agreed afterwards. Maybe it was a bit too geometric for me. The cluster pendant is nice as well, but, my e-ring was from HW, so I would like to diversify my jewelry collections. :graucho:
