I love your garnet ring, Cosmopolitan. Garnet is my birthstone, so hubby bought one for me for my b-day last month. It looks similar to yours but it set in yellow gold.

Label Addict - your rings are gorgeous!

my fingers are a 3.5 and long and creepy.
seriously.
and I'm 5'7" and 120 pounds.
perfect for instruments, not so perfect for jewels, yo.

I can't even get rings resized, they have to be custom freaking ordered most of the time because of the curvature.

I love all of those rings and only wish Yurman had child sizes.

I feel your pain! My ring finger is just barely over size four, and I had to have my e-ring completely re-made because they couldn't size it down that much.

I doubt your fingers are creepy, just dainty!

Aww, thanks SuLi. You know, you might be surprised about your ability to wear big rings. I have relatively short and stubby fingers too--I wear a size 5 or 6 ring--and I actually think that bigger-scale rings look better on me than dainty little rings. You outta try some on!

Thanks for the encouragement. I've tried some DY and other big rings, but they just don't do it for me. Wear yours in good health!

Kat, I love the pearl one as well.

Actually, all statement rings are fab in their own way. They are so much fun!

At one of my Neimans they have an amazing display in this super case frestanding in the middle of the least place you'd expect. It really and truly makes you want to purhase one.

Here's my favorite middle finger ring....It was given to me by my mother in law..
Yeah I know , she's great!!

50% of my rings are statement rings, because my Mum, sister and I have always loved big stones in gorgeous settings! :D I have two big pink tourmalines in intricate gold settings, a huge peridot in a lovely silver setting, multiple large topaz and citrine rings, etc. They are such fun pieces to wear when your outfit is simple and needs a lil something extra!

One of the best places to find rings like this are *quality* jewelry shows for wholesalers, or knowing a friend or jeweler that can nab you pieces from wholesale shows. Also, having good connections at your local antique show/flea market doesn't hurt either, as the ones that I know always have great antique/vintage cocktail rings that are TDF! The small collectors and antique guys are great to buy from, because in some retail stores you can end up overpaying quite a bit for the stone/setting.
