Star Wars?

Agreed.
Actually, when I saw the princess bear on the left, for a minute I thought it was an aviator with his big earphones on.

I'm actually starting to feel like something is wrong with me. I've never been terribly into Disney, so that whole collection (both boutique and MFF) went right over my head. Keith Haring (?) I'd never actually heard of before (yeah, I admit it). Peanuts .... eh .... I watched the cartoons as a kid, but never felt the zeal. I did get a Chelsea tattoo bag and strap, but primarily because the picture reminded me of a vintage Doctor Who.

Am I really that removed from pop culture? :confused1:
Star Wars -- I was certainly around for the early round of movies, but only ever saw the very first one. Saw it once, never watched it again. My parents bought me all the action figures, which my young self apparently didn't care about. We just found them in my mom's attic, still in pristine condition and with the boxes too. My husband's eyes absolutely bugged out when I produced them. He acted like I had the Holy Grail. "Do you realize what those are???? Do you realize what they're worth???" I just shrugged, handed them to him and said, "Merry Christmas."

Please note, I am NOT suggesting there's anything wrong with any of those subjects ... Star Wars, Disney ... any of them. Rather, I'm asking if there's something wrong with *me*. :confused1: :hrmm::amazed:
No, nothing wrong with you. I'm not into any of them either and I have never watched even 1 minute of a Star Wars movie. Different strokes......

Nope. Nothing wrong with you. Just like the SNL shows, I despise all Star Wars, I couldn't stand those dumb side buns on the princess character. Lol. (I do admit to watching Star Trek up until I was in my early 20's, then I got tired of them) I was more into movies like Smokey and the Bandit, Cheech and Chong and Porky's....oh, and Stephen King movies too.

Anyone have any info on an upcoming Star Wars collection in outlets? I know many have been wanting that, and my store had checked into upcoming Disney and mentioned that there will be a Star Wars Collection in outlet stores. No other info.... or dates. So for those of you with better info, let us all know when you have it! Thanks.
I believe release will be in November and they should be announcing very soon!

(It's the first pic that I'd given to a few people above ... hadn't seen the second pic before ... don't think it had been posted earlier?)

Eh. I'm still not impressed. :-/ The darth vader bear looks kind of cool maybe, in that dark and forboding way, but ... shrug.
The bear in the second pic ... is that supposed to be a Jedi outfit? I would honestly have guessed "karate bear" first, lol, but that's probably because daughter has ranks in both kung fu and karate. Now put one in a Jedi(?) outfit that looks more kung fu than karate, and I may bite. Heh. ;)

Gosh, I love Stars Wars, but this is a bit underwhelming...
I think it's supposed to be a Jedi outfit, but I am sort of debating if the bear is supposed to represent Luke or Yoda, because Luke wears that type of outfit, but the bear also looks green like Yoda. Maybe I am overthinking this.

Anyone that wants actual cute Star Wars bears should stick with Build a Bear, for real. They might re-release some items that they had in the past for the upcoming movie release. We have an adorable, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Rey, Chewie, Bobba Fett, and a Storm Trooper. They are from the original release of their animals a few years ago, and they are way cuter :-)
