I was given a couple of good tips from a customer service rep when I called the 866 number. She told me to always make sure I am signed into my account BEFORE I try to place an item in my shopping bag. And to make sure my payment information, shipping information, etc. is always up to date before I try to place an order. She said that sometimes when an item becomes available, it can be extremeley limited quantity and there are often loads of people trying to purchase the items at the same time and timing can be the difference. It's essentially first come-first serve in most cases. Many times in the past when I had been stalking hard to find items, I had seen them become available, but by the time I gone through the steps to order, it had become unavailable again. Following the reps simple steps really helped. I have managed to snag quite a few items in this way. As for good times, naturally I think that the times of day when a lot of people will be shopping might make it more difficult. I seem to have good luck in the early morning hours, late in the evening, and for some reason right around meal times...haha! I guess when others are busy sleeping, eating, and getting ready for bed are good times to get hard to find items! Good luck!
