Hello!
I hope this is okay for me to ask this here, but it's just a few quick questions and I didn't want to make a new thread but: 1) what's the likelihood of an LV item purchased in the UK being made in France? and

2) I mentioned to a relative that I've been searching for the Mini PA for a long time now (a year counting, on and off, multiple countries when I've visited) and she mentioned that if it's harder to get in NA, then I could order to her address in the UK and she would hold onto it for me until we saw each other. (We were supposed to see each other this spring/summer, but due to the pandemic, that didn't happen; I'm not in a rush to have it right now though, just want to purchase) I'm from Canada, so I was thinking of adding her address to my account & adjusting my PayPal correctly so that it doesn't flag. Has anyone tried doing this before?

Not sure if my situation applies, but I’m from the US currently living in Germany and the .de website won’t accept any of my card/PayPal accounts. I’ve gotten as far as ATB, pay, receive confirmation email... and then the order is canx. When I called the LV store the customer service associate said the accounts had to be local/German account whether it was a bank, PayPal, or credit card. (Though I’ve used my US credit card IN store and via a telephone order...)

TL;DR: if your PayPal account isn’t an EU PayPal (which I didn’t even know existed until a month ago), you may not be able to use it.

That’s discouraging but makes sense. Probably to dissuade others from purchasing this way too :’(

my credit cards probably wouldn’t work either then, since the addresses linked to those are Canadian. I don’t want to ask to user her profile though, in the event that I’d need to do repairs.

Yikes thank you for the heads up. I think I should ask for my cousin credit card and not use my own credit card because I live in US but my cousin lives in in London and I was hoping she can help me ship the bag to US.
