I heard something about Chanel increase on IG. 17%? Makes LV look like a drop in the ocean. At least LV was 3%!

That's cracked! Like I'm annoyed about the LV price increase but not enough to stop completely. That would really turn me off Chanel. I only have a vintage bag so far but really like it. Might stick to preloved if the prices are going up that much!:confused1:

Chanel always have the craziest price increases :wtf: I'm glad I got my Jumbo Classic 2 years ago because I wouldn't have bought one now. There's simply a limit to what a product is worth :no:

And would you recommend Chanel over LV? I am so torn... think about how much LV you can get for one Chanel!
( I wanted to buy a coco handle for 3150€/3400€ small/medium -which I thought was reasonable for an all leather Chanel flap bag)
On the other hand: I am already a sensation with my LVs in my little town.... with Chanel I would be a true unicorn :yes:
Sad but true...

Yeah the classics are out of the game for me...
but the coco handle or the mini flap were something to think about .

Hey- if anyone is annoyed by the off topic talk- SORRY! I don‘t mean to spam the stalking thread!

It‘s just that anwers to the common questions/threads here are always US- based or at least dominated!
I think that luxury spending, affording, dealing with jealousy, prices, shopping experience, return policies and so on is different here in Europe. And thats why I am interested in your thoughts.

Same here... I wanted to by a mini flap but now I'm looking into the YSL mini Lou instead. Heard that a couple of people sold their Chanel Minis for that bag, so I'm intrigued now.

I would be up for that! I am from a small, rural town originally and always get side eyed and told I have notions when I take my bags home. I would love an EU thread where we can talk about that stuff!

Great idea! I‘d love to have an additional thread too. I find it sometimes quite hard here in Germany or at least Europe to carry designer things with me, as I always get a side eye from others, especially in smaller towns. I somehow got the feeling that in the US it’s seen more like an achievement and here it’s like jealousy. So a thread where we can talk about those things would be great! :drinks:
