Exactly!!! I work with girls who buy knock of michael kors on beach promenade stalls in spain (no judgement from me to that, btw, each to their own), so you get the picture.. They just don't get me

I just say it was ‘alot’ and laugh it off. One of my colleague recently asked to borrow money from me and used the fact that I buy ‘expensive designer sh*t’ as her rational for me definitely having spare cash to give her. Needless to say I politely said no. :no:

Hahahaha you girls are making my day!!
My boyfriend asked how much my keypouch was so I said £200 (it’s actually £290) and I could see the blood drain off his face from disbelief.
If I manage to get a mini pochette I’m delivering it to our BringMe lockers (like amazon locker) that we have near where we live so he doesn’t ask what UPS had just dropped off lol! And when he sees it next and asks ‘is it new?’ I always say ‘no I’ve had it for ages’

Also I hate rude colleagues who feel the need to comment on any lux pieces I own. It’s my money so why does it bother them?! I’m not going into debt or improperly managing my money and even if I was , is it anyones business? Having said that I don’t carry any of my lux pieces to my current work just because no one around me gets it and I just can’t be asked with the staring or passive comments. Sad I know ... but glad to have met you all in this community who share a similar passion especially during a pandemic!
