It’s the same with me. In Denmark we have Trendsales (fee of 3%). But Denmark is such a small country and most of the buyers are from Copenhagen, so usually I don’t have to pay any fees - they just come and pick it up at my place and pay directly. Otherwise luxury secondhand stores here takes 20% commission which is still cheaper than Vestiaire. I don’t think I would ever try selling on eBay. I’ve heard too many horror stories.
Yeah, I think Vestiaire is like 30%...:amazed: Ebay is tricky...they can say it wasn't received (as some delivery guys just sign off and leave parcel outside the door - then buyers can say it's not my signature etc-this happened to my friend) they may claim item is not authentic, then switch it on return... too messy...

I always sell on eBay as Vestaire seller fees are too high. However I sold my LV Yayoi Kusama Speedy in white on Vestaire, because offers were too low on eBay and sold it for £1350. All my vintage LV I buy on eBay, but you need to know the item very well to ensure you don't buy a fake.

Other consignments stores are: Jolicloset, Videdressing, Rebelle, Hardly Ever Worn It, Bagista, Handbag Clinic, Naughtipidgins Nest, Designer Exchange, Cash Converters Milano, Designer Exchange Ireland and Open for Vintage. Those all the ones I can think of right now. If I've forgotten any I'll add.

Never had a problem on eBay. Always send special delivery UPS signed for by recipient only and take pics/film of the items are packaged to ensure buyers don't claim it's not authentic routine.

Yes, 35%, which I think is a crazy amount for luxury items. I mean, we have to sell the items ourselves and take the pictures and reply messages. At least the secondhand luxury boutiques do the work for you and for a lower rate. Vestiaire would be my last resort if I ever have a bag that can’t sell anywhere else.

On ebay i can only find Multi kaki from the US? Tell me girls, where do you sell your old items? What is best website?
In your eBay search make sure you select shipping to EU to see all the listings. I've seen MPA khaki and pink, from Germany, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Lativia etc. selling for around £1600. If you do buy on eBay check it properly as there's been a load of fakes on the site. I would hang on and get one from LV. It's a permanent piece, so with perseverance you'll get one in the end!

I’ve read on some thread in here that they don’t take videos/pictures as evidence in a case, since those can me manipulated. And that eBay usually takes buyers side. I’ve bought from eBay plenty of times but never sold anything.

I send pics through eBay messages ahead of shipping to show the buyer what they will be receiving. eBay would have to accept it as evidence because it's been uploaded to their platform to the buyer as part of the sale process.

Hey ladies,
Need your help! My escale pochette arrived and i’m not sure if there is flaw or am i just being super picky?! The zipper just doesn’t seem to be quite straight causing a little ‘wave’ if you know what i mean? Is this normal? Thanks:)

I was up til 3.30am (I was working too lol) and absolutely nothing came onto the site. Even items which were always available to purchase like have disappeared lately.
I've been told that during this period they were selling bit by bit what they had left in stock in the warehouse prior to lockdown and since lockdown no new items have been made/manufactured so it will be a while until stocks show online. Not sure how true this is but kinda makes sense?

Also how long does it take before an item is shipped? I placed an order Friday and according to their website monday is the earliest they will ship... but I'm still waiting for the e-mail and I'm impatient  thanks!!

I have one, but no way im selling it:biggrin: i was just curious because in NL we only have one website where you can sell so i looked at ebay but it looks to complicated for me so ill stick to the NL website. They ask 19€ for 0-500, 37€ for an advertisement between 500/1500 and 50€ above 1500, good prices i think?

It's different with each order, at least in my case. My latest order from thursday morning was shipped yesterday. Arrived in Ireland this morning, I will get it tomorrow as it's bank holiday today here, so no UPS:smile:
