djfmn, what a lovely collection you have! What hardware did you choose for your Amaranto Selene with the gray lining? Just curious!

It would be great if we had a reference only thread, where we could look at pictures all day long! Ha, Ha! Does anyone know if that is possible? All of you have posted these wonderful, lovely pictures!

Dmarie thank you. I love all the bags I have bought from Massaccesi I cannot say there is one I do not love. Although having said that I did return the Divina full size not because I did not love the bag I did but it was too big for me.

I chose the Silver HW on the Amaranto mini Selene with the gray lining. I felt that was a good combination for me. I tend to feel red with gold is to close to Christmas looking in a bag for my taste. That is purely personal and that was the main reason I went with silver.

HaHa! I got an email from Valentina today, and she was talking about helping me find someone who could show me a bronze Selene. Like maybe an American who has one. I think her email was for another customer because I already have a bronze Selene! (Or maybe I'm the American who should show a customer my bronze Selene?) I wasn't sure what she meant. She must be crazy busy!

Regular Size Minerva vs Minnie (they are so smooshy and delicious so in order to get an accurate size I had to flatten them and prop up against our Settee)

Special Order Gunmetal Hardware vs Silver Hardware (the gunmetal is classified as a 'light gunmetal hardware' and it is- I love it very much with the Purple, but if you are on a tight budget and don't have enough for the extra 25 Euros it is very close to the Silver so I think you would be fine to stay with Silver)

WOW! Love all your photos ... looks at all that delicious leather! IF you had to pick your favourite of them all, which would it be? I'm not sure I could choose.

When you see the midi vs the regular size, the regular doesn't seem super big. Great comparison photo!

Great to see a comparison between the gunmetal and the silver. You are right, they do appear very close so I would probably save the extra $ and just go with silver.

No, only one, huh? The Black Minerva - the scrumptious leather is seriously
the most soft black leather I have ever touched. I shake my head at how lucky I am to own it. The shine on it is just like my Black Vintage Caviar Chanel Flap.


If you let me have only two My Taupe Minerva. The Black and the Taupe (and the Burgundi, heeeeee, sneaking another one in there hoping you do not notice) to me are timeless and perfect for everything. This Taupe is exactly what I was hoping for in color and texture. It was my first and to me is so divine!


The love I have for the last three are equal to the love I have for my first three, but I am conservative and always choose classic colors when faced with these 'if you had to just pick one' decisions. Cheers Moonstarry!

Thank you for the comparison shots of the Minerva's. It isn't that much difference in size when you are carrying them, but I really like the proportions of the regular Minerva. I love that burgundy Minerva-such a rich, deep color. I'm probably going to go with the Burgundy Minerva and bronze Selene. I'm stalling a little because I want to see the spring line. Thank you so much for sharing your newest bags. Love them all!

Ok, so tonight when I get home I will take a picture for you. To be clear, do you want both the Regular size and the Minnie on the same shoulder and then turned to the side? (so not like in my 3rd picture above when Black and Turquoise are on opposite shoulders facing front?)


The answer to Moonstarr's question was solely based on leather color. When faced with a question like that one, I always chose Black, or another neutral over a fun pop of color because a neutral like Black or Taupe I can wear to business meetings and also dress down on the weekends. They are all seriously delicious leathers and I am happy I do not just have to chose one, LOL.

Hi lenie! You are very welcome! It is a rich deep color indeed! And a chameleon in different lighting which I love, and I love that while it is a great 'color' it is still a fabulous neutral, it goes with everything I own. The sizes really do not feel that much different when I wear them, I just mentioned on another thread they only differ for me in terms of capacity. Hope that helps! Wish I was in your weather right now, it is -9 degrees here and that is not even including the wind chill factor.

I am also stalling to see the Spring leathers. I know that I am probably going to get another minnie Selene but I want it in a spring leather. I am also getting a minnieMinerva in taupe but waiting to order the second bag for spring.

I am also going to visit with Lovie so I can see the size of her Minnie Minerva. I tried her full size taupe Minerva when she came to my house for the ladies tea that I host every couple of months.

The full size Minerva was too big for me but I think the Minnie Minerva will work. I am fortunate enough to have Lovie in the same city as I am which means we can get together and compare bags.

Hi VannieVan, you would love the Turquoise, it was smooshy right out of the box just like Blackie. No breaking in needed, just a smooshy delight! I wish Burgundi had been a standard color too, it is a favorite. I am happy I spent the extra for her as a Bespoke, she was very well worth it.


I am hoping for a Berry color with blue undertones for Spring! (And I always want another brown hue, lol, there are so many to swoon over there!)
