I can't say that I'm really diggin' this style ... I don't know, everytime I look at it ... the 2 front pockets look like saggy boobs to me! Plus, I hate having to poke around a big bag like this to look for stuff (especially when in a line at the grocery store or airport!). Just my opinion ...
I'd say you've definitely had something better to do than measure a bag! Congratulations to you and your whole family.

Just saw the Square Tote today IRL (Praline color) ... and you know what ... I've revised my opinion, I kind of liked it! I wish that Balenciaga had put the zippers in opposing directions though ... so that the tassels either were "out" or "in". Certainly this bag will hold a great deal; the problem is, will it all sink down to the bottom?!?! That is one of the reasons why I like the Part Time ... I don't spend a heck of a lot of time hunting for an item ... since there's not a lot of room height-wise.
I'm on the fence leaning to like it too..

hi, i just bought my first Balenciaga and it's the square tote. bought it without seeing it in person...it is HUGE, as i see on this pic (would maybe make a great diaper bag, if i had kids)!!!

ceejay, the zippers normaly are in opposing directions. just compared some pics. thank you for notithing this.
lasmico, ceejay is right. there's something wrong with the zippers on the front pockets of your bag...
It seems that the first picture posted on this thread (Maldives-posted by ****** originally, IIRC) the zippers are opposing, but the bag that JadeLeaves posted (she bought from Perth), the bag Lasmico posted (which is from ****** listing, IIRC) and the link to the bag nishag670 posted at Barney's all are the same. i received her today, bal square tote maldives blue!!! she is beyond huge, she's GINORMOUS (over-the-top gigantic, IMO)!!! she's beautiful, but i don't know what to wear with her or how to wear her remember, this is my first bal bag). i will post pics tomorrow when my husband can take the photos. what do most people do with the mirror (do you let it hang on the outside, that seems weird)? she's like a over sized briefcase/laptop bag. i wish i could find pictures of celebrities carrying this style, it will help me tremendously. will post pics tomorrow! thanks for your help. oh, and she smells divine!
