Square Tote?

^^I wonder how it would fit under your arm. Looking at it the handles seem a little short. I don't like how my 06 work is right under my armpit if I try to carry it on my shoulder and I worry that this would be the same. To me a tote should be carried on the shoulder not crook of arm. Humm, maybe I should stick with my shoppers and WE's with the longer handles.....?

I'll have to see one in person - I hope someone posts modeling shots of it soon though so I can get a better idea of what it's like in real life....

Beaux, If you count the laces, it looks like it's 12 stitches halfway round the handles. If assuming the whipstitch are always constantly spaced between all handles, then it should be similar to Work handles. Mine is the newer Work 08 VT so it should be the longer handles. It slings nicely on shoulders after it breaks in. BUT the handles do look short in pic, it could be due to the largeness of the bag IMO.

I wish the handles were the same length as on my Rube WE. It's long enough to wear over your shoulder without having it stuck up into your armpit - but not too long, i.e. elongated looking.

I do like the bag in general though, I just would want to have to carry it by the longer strap all the time. I hope someone buys one so we can all check it out.

I love how it looks, but I get conflicting answers on the size. I've been told it's more the size of a WE turned on it's side, than again maybe like a work but a little bigger. I was hoping for this bag or that new folder, but I saw it and really didn't like it at all. It was too long and strangely shaped. I had no idea it was really flat. Hmmm.

Has anyone seem the "floral" imprinted bag? It's in the new BG catalogue.

Just received my officier square last week from Cult Status in Perth, Australia.

And because I am twiddling my thumbs waiting for my little girl to make her appearance, I finally got around to taking some pics.

Sorry gals, no modelling pics because I am so heavily pregnant!

Fantastic photos! So tell us: Do the whip stitched fit over your shoulder? How do you carry it and what's your initial review of the bag?

Maybe you can bribe your husband into some modeling shots! :flowers:

^^rollergirl - you saw it in person? Is it flat like the slim?

I did see one giant covered HW (I guess it only comes in giant) folder. It isn't as flat as the slim or even this new zippy tote, because it has a gusset at the bottom. I'm going from memory, but I think it's at least a couple of inches deep at the bottom. At the top, it has a semi-circular sort of cut out, i guess for under arm room; yet it still seems to fit right in the arm pit. It's in the general size range as the slim, maybe longer/taller than the slim or a day and more structured than the day. Going left to right, it narrows at the top. It's a long bag and I think might work better on someone tall. I just found it sort of ??? not in proportion. This is all very subjective, but it wasn't for me.

They really should bring back the shopping, maybe close it at the top.
