Went to Madison this morning. Unfortunately no Hermès Story yet, but it’s coming. They had several colorways of the Faubourg Tropical shawl, but they didn't grab me in person.

They have 5 or 6 colorways of Premier Chant, and tbh for me it was a bit disappointing. There were a few colorways I liked flat, but not so much when tied. I think eventually I will end up with the light blue/green colorway because the variety of colors isn't so jarring on me when tied. However, there was one colorway of Sous l'Egide de Mars I havent previously seen which was hanging out in a drawer, and that did the trick for me. Bonus: when it was folded and tied, I realized that it's the same pretty gray as my bedroom wall, lol.

Also was able to get a pair of the only twillies I knew in advance would be a must: the black Grand Theatre Nouveau.

I agree with you. There are only 2 cws that look uniform when tied (01, 05) ... This is the first time I am having so much misgiving about a scarf. I wish they wouldn't include the borders. The individual elements of Premier Chan look beautiful but when tied, it doesn't look uniform to me ... Probably, when I get it I will need to come up with better knots but as is, the conventional knots don't really look uniform to me.

Only these two cws look uniform when tied in regular bias knots (basically opposite corners need to almost match in colors). I am having a tough time deciding on this design. The different border colors really make it tough. Probably when I receive it, I will decide if I want to keep the purple cw or not ...

Exactly. I’ve now tried it twice. Unfortunately it looks completely different tied than when lying flat, and I haven’t been able to find a colorway that works on me yet. usually I can manipulate the fold to hide any colors that don’t work on me. Still holding out hope for the caramel colorway.

tbh I tried on the Cliquetis yesterday in the same colors as the top scarf here - blue, white, gray, brown. I found it much easier to wear. currenlty deciding between that and the dark green Lift Profile scarf from last season….

rooting for lift profile! I just got mine and I love it. I think it was a completely underrated design.

I have tried the old version of Cliquetis! It's beautifully tied. The new version has more modern colors. Love it.
