Congrats! It looks lovely on you. You and I are definitely on the same wavelength! I just received this same scarf today via FedEx scarf mail. (We're twins on Zebra Pegasus CSGT too.) I haven't had a chance to do much with it, other than ooh/ah. I also got the Sous l'Egide in that yummy cantaloupe colorway 38 too. I'll ponder them in more detail tomorrow.

Thank you so much @FlaTiger! So happy to be twins and we will be sisters on Sous L'Egide-- I ordered the blue/brown and am deciding on it tomorrow. I do love the three I have chosen so far and am going to now wait for the elusive double face Tigre Royale. Many this season are lovely but too similar to other silks in my closet. So far a pretty reasonable season wallet-wise!

I agree with this completely - there are always outliers. I just purchased a burgundy and cream lift profile from last season that seems to be an outlier. But the color families do seem to dominate.

Good afternoon and happy new year to all you scarfies! I am posting mod shots of Le Premier Chant in cw 03 which just arrived. I absolutely love it. I purchased the dark blue one for my daughter as well and she looks as lovely in it as @blydia and @Nomad did in their mod shots. I think, as @Living.la.vida.fifi so eloquently described that this is a remarkable carre. I am so pleased with the vibrancy of the colors and the border and the hem, not to mention the story. I've tried to show ties that haven't been shown to now so y'all can see how fun this will be to play with!

How do scarfies know what colors look good on them and not keep getting repeat after repeat of same/similar colors

I keep a master file of all my scarfs, but I also have files by color: so black/white, neutrals, red/pink, blue/green and so on. In each file I have pix of my scarfs flat so when I open a file, I can immediately see is something is too close or I have too many. Right now, I am trying to stay away from most blues and neutrals. But that said, I don't mind having certain colors repeat if the designs are different enough. This season there are a lot of muted colors it seems to me...

Yes!! There does need to be a system that one can go through quickly and see how many of a color are already in collection. You have a great system. I think I might fiddle with my digital system a bit so I can filter by colors. Your system must help your ccp.

Thanks Tammy! The pink/green cw of Tigre Royal looks amazing and could fill the green hole in my scarf heart.

For me, the designs, not the CWs were problematic. I have no pastels in my collection and actually do need one. I like Carres Volant (though so far there are only 2 CWs) and Regards de Soie. I’ll certainly get one of those. But those are both 70s; the 90s fell completely flat with me. Largely because a majority of the pieces this year were “reissues” with every one of those being designs I didn’t want the first time around! Seemed like a fairly lazy effort for SS22, IMO.

Yes~ And I feel the same way about reissues. I already did or didn't do that!
