Sadly, I think I've decided to not go for Le Premier Chant 90.
I like the stronger blue/browns cw but trying on my Jaguar Quetzal and Acte III, Scene I, La Clairiere, just too close. Plus, many other blue scarves in my collection are a very similar shade(s)/hues. I knew the price-rise would come today, but I just couldn't pull the trigger last night. I'm willing to try on when I go into the city to give it a chance but that could be months away.
All the rest are pastels on what is quite a 'girly' design. Justnot for me.
Disappointing.
I like an etherial or mythical being now and again, but I'm not sure why Hermes thinks all women customers have all turned into pastel-rainbow, bows, heats and polka-dot-flowers, unicorn-obsessed girly-girls all at once. It would be nice to have a bit more choice.
What do you think of Mysterious Rider and Minuit au Faubourg? I am waiting for those.
Minuit au Faubourg is reissued this season, see press day pics.I have 3 MinaF, nothing childlike about those. Let's not mix seasons though.

Cartoons and fairytale illustrations can work-out even 'darker' in feel than with a 'straight' narrative. I have 3 MinaF, nothing childlike about those. Let's not mix seasons though.
It will be interesting to see how Hermes Story translates. I like that too. Tied, there seems a lot of background space. Could be same challenge.
The problem we have (as others have said before) is with these recent colour families, sometimes you want to buy many of the designs but would end up with the same cws going across. We've seen the blue/brown colour family before too, and if this is the only stronger cw this season it's going to be difficult. And I really want LPC. I don't get anything I'm not 100% about.
My store also had 2 more cws, not shown here: one with a red background and one that was a soft orange.Ah, I did see these thumbnails but forgot! Hopefully we’ll see some larger mod shots soon.
In my language marmoset is called “silk monkey”!Ouistiti is also the French way of saying “say cheese” for a photo, doubly apt![]()
I agree with you, papertiger ... zero this season for me.Sadly, I think I've decided to not go for Le Premier Chant 90.

The first couple of color families (4 years ago maybe?) were attractive and there arose the problem you describe of wanting too many similarly-colored scarves. Then the colors got weird AF and one ends up with nothing, as you also said. Brilliant way to get us to buy fewer scarves!I really wish they'd abandon this fairly new idea of color family, design palettes! Not only is there the issue of possibly getting repeats of the same color family in various designs one might like, but also having the issue of liking a number of designs, but disliking all the color families offered...and ending up with nothing. I just feel like it's a lazy way for them to design the seasonal offerings.Truly not a big deal, I have plenty of scarves, but a bit sad that I've not liked so many of the recent color families. And I agree, if I'm not thrilled at first sight, I pass...know to do so from past experience!
For me, the designs, not the CWs were problematic. I have no pastels in my collection and actually do need one. I like Carres Volant (though so far there are only 2 CWs) and Regards de Soie. I’ll certainly get one of those. But those are both 70s; the 90s fell completely flat with me. Largely because a majority of the pieces this year were “reissues” with every one of those being designs I didn’t want the first time around! Seemed like a fairly lazy effort for SS22, IMO.The first couple of color families (4 years ago maybe?) were attractive and there arose the problem you describe of wanting too many similarly-colored scarves.
