Scarves Spring/summer 2022 scarves

Just in from my London visit to NBS. Beginning of January for the new season said the SA. It felt like there was quite a sparse selection of AW21.

Looking forward to the images of the colourways as they trickle in.

Last year, new season silks were available on the French website from December 16th.

They're not usually for sale in the UK until Jan anyway. I think they want to make sure they a) sell the previous season for Christmas and b) take advantage of the usual price rise. I used to buy earlier in Nice, France (the airport is usually first but you have to be air-side).

The trickle is more a minimal drip-feed in London.

I miss traveling & checking out fresh new silk/cashmere pieces at the airport boutiques. Plus its a treat finding some gems from previous seasons too.

Don't get excited - just to say I was in Dubai airport on 7th December and the Hermes store had pretty good stocks of many things but nothing for the SS22 season - neither scarves nor RTW nor other accessories. Lots of nice eye candy and some gentlemen's bags that are rarely seen but saving up now for the 4 scarves that have piqued my interest from the list earlier in this thread
