Why, oh why, could they not have also made this as a regular 90 silk twill carre?

Thankfully I am saved from this one by:1) the cost! and 2) The silver beading.
I live in an area with high background levels of H2S (oops - hydrogen sulphide) so that anything silver EASILY tarnishes (including my H- silver jewelry which requires a lot of care polishing & wrapping in special anti-tarnish cloth) and that includes silver beading of any sort (which turns an ugly, sort of black colour over time here).

Haha...there are still designs missing and I think some more photos I can find for other CWs on some 90s.

I believe this design that you quoted for the 45 is also on some RTWs this season (not this particular detail but the whole motif) not sure if that's good news for you...

You might not be so saved as they are silver colored glass beads I agree with you in the fact this one had the potential of a huge hit in 90... maybe they'll use it in the next seasons ...

I know it's a reissue, but I rarely see this CW on the secondary market. And the new hem is so fabulous!

I couldn’t resist ordering La Marche du Zambèze in cw 20 as soon as I saw it on the website!
So cute, and I’ve not managed to break my pink obsession yet.
Will try to take some more pics over the next few days, since it looks white in most of these...(glare from the kitchen window) - sorry!
