I just noticed this today (I'm in Europe), so did this as an example using text FOR TPF EXAMPLE. You can do up to 24 characters in three different FONTS and see what it'll look like prior:

So odd, I see what you mean. Per the website, the flat pic has a dark border, and the modelling view shows a white border. :upsidedown: As you suggested, maybe the white border one was a prototype? Like you, I think the dark border looks better. I had a similar (though much more minor) issue with a SS20 mousseline, link below. Seems prototype pics sometimes slip into marketing...

as you say brilliant idea for a gift - and I did not see the dedicated thread so definitely worth posting here as well. I dont get a chance to check in more than once or twice a week, so a little bit of double posting doesn't hurt. @Meta thank you for the dedicated thread and will definitely check that and post once I get something - as I think this would be such a lovely present for anniversaries and things.

I felt the same way about the white border.

I did some research into some of the earlier images posted on this thread, and the pictures of it on display showed it with the blue border. That's what convinced me to bite the bullet and get it (ordered from the website). Really happy that it arrived as it did and not the white bordered prototype version.

I found that the model shots on the website often show prototype versions. The last scarf I ordered, the formule chic, showed one side as primarily orange, when in reality it was more of a maroon.
