Hi, everyone! It is so nice to see all these lovely new silks y'all are adding to your collections. I have a question for the tPF experts. I have received the black Zambeze cw in the wash version and I am waiting for it in the regular silk twill (which I have in pink). My concern is not the vibrancy of the colors but the softness-- does it have a greater propensity to wrinkle and does it tie as nicely as the regular? I am new to the world of wash scarves and any observations/advice would be appreciated. I wear this design often which is why I am getting a second cw so that is also a factor...The SA at the boutique I recently went to said a lot of people don't like the wash scarves, which made me wonder...I have to say the wash scarve feels very fluid and soft.

No wrinkle in my experience and more comfortable to wear

I like the wash scarves. They are a bit more casual, like you can throw them on with a tshirt without it being too much.

I have a 140 cm wash scarf from last year and it's definitely softer and lighter than the regular twill ones, but I don't find that it wrikles more. It's a bit harder to make it stay in place, but other than that I really like it. It feels less formal.

Hi, I see that many of us are interested in the Pegase 140. I finally got it in the khaki cw. Yes, it’s very thin and wrinkles easily...i was determined to get the black/white cw but when my SA showed me this cw, I knew I had to bring it home! OMG, I love it! I am a big fan of green despite not having much green clothing/accessories, I usually prefer brighter hues but this muted shade is really great. Nice to pair with neutral tones.
Actually, I've just bought this scarf! I am a bit anxious because I found someone who was selling it online for almost half the retail price. The pics of the scarf looked okay, I hope it's not a scam...in that case I'm going to ask Paypal to step in and hope for the best.

I love the feel. I think people who don't like the wash don't like how it works for their usual knots.

Selle des Steppes was not even on my radar. I never check out either orange or pink colorways. Your pictures have persuaded me to check out these two colorways and give them serious consideration! Your pictures of how to tie this design (as opposed to how Hermes presents them tiedon their website) have been wonderful! Thanks to you and to everyone else who take the time to post pictures!!

I just bought my first scarf from this season.... and like most of my recent purchases, it's a men's scarf! I dunno, I just find the men's formats much more user-friendly for my casual style... Anyway here's the Pegase Paysage men's scarf. Love the oblong shape, so much more practical for me given that I'm petite! With a regular CSGM all the material bunched up around the neck looks too big for me.
I got the blue CW, although I'm very tempted by the red, which unfortunately the store didn't have so I'd have to order online. I'll post the H.com picture of the red one below too.
Which would YOU pick, the red or the blue?
