I don't like them all but I like the variety and creativity. I remember (back in the eluxury days) when the whole LV collection was basically same variances of a bag over and over again! I think these new models and colors and shapes are fun.

OMG... I do remember eluxury! That takes me back to when I was first getting into LV.

I agree - I like a lot of the new releases, but there's some I could do without. For instance, the empreinte pieces with the contrast stitching; the stitching sort of ruined it for me. I have to say that at first I wasn't really sure about the Tuileries line, but it's really growing on me. Love the contrast of the colored leather against mono!

Lots of good points.

I think #3 is where I get lost. I love buying a bag and using it a lot. I hate rotating bags, wallets etc. I'm too lazy. I could probably afford to buy more but I just don't have the desire too. So, I'm not in LV's target audience right now of more & often. And, that's ok. I'm patient enough to wait until a new simple, classic comes out that makes my heart sing.

I've always loved fashion but I've always been a great "window" shopper. I like having fewer things that I wear to death before I get rid of them.
I hear your point - but that's where the great diversification begun under Marc Jacobs' tenure (more accessories, RTW, shoes, fashion jewelry, fine jewelry, timepieces, etc) comes in. You may only buy a bag every few years... but LV wants to tempt you with other purchases!

Has anyone seen the epi Vaneau in person? I thought maybe I had seen some pics earlier in this thread of the bag, but can't seem to find them now. I also don't know how to search for an item since the new format changed a few months back so please forgive my lack of techno savvy.
Yes I just went to see it yesterday. I am pretty disappointed. It seemed cheap and not like a luxury bag at all. Maybe I'm wrong, I also had just looked at a Fendi peekaboo, which seemed very top quality. I am going to go back some time this week with my epi alma and compare. :-(.

So who else is excited about all of these new releases?!?! I know I am! Not worrying about accessibility or going off on any other tangents that aren't focused on the point of this thread. Yaaaay! :p:amuse::flowers::drinks:

Anyway... do we have price info for that cute, little heart coin purse?
Always excited! Looking forward to new colours, like the ciel, and what new items they have in the men's collection. :amuse:

Yes, saw it yesterday  I thought it looked quite elegant and business like.

Nah I didn't think it looked cheap at all, I do agree with the person who said it was a bit stuffy, compared to my more casual taste. I think some fab lady in a nice business outfit for work would rock it.

Ya I was interested to use for work. I am in an extremely conservative work environment where I have to wear dorky suits. So many other bags I like as well but this one looked good for office/court

Yes back to topic... there are heaps of other threads debating the negatives of Louis. To me it is a simple solution... don't like it, don't buy it.

I saw some of the new bags yesterday, but not the one I was hoping to see, Cap bb in Vert... my dream colour.

I think it would be great for work, especially a conservative environment. The pockets would be convenient for keeping phone, ID badges, etc, without having to zip/unzip the purse often.
