Yes. A lot of people have had issues with cracking at the top of the bag. Take a look at the artsy forum for more info. LV has been giving people replacement bags since it is a defect. I imagine that is a rather expensive mistake, so hopefully they have resolved the problem in new bags.

I like having no leather at the top. The leather trim like on the top of the neverfulls gets wrinkly & old looking quickly. I guess we'll just have to wait & see
