A word of caution, I guess. My SA mentioned that the tassel thing gets really splayed out over time. She mentioned some of her clients who own them and use them as keychains have been unhappy. I liked the wallet but she suggested against it because she mentioned the same thing might happen.

Yes..I have the one on the croisette and it's terrible. It rested on the table once when I put my bag down and that was it! Splayed out and ugly...

My SA originally told me 2/24 but texted me a few days ago and said it's been postponed to 3/10. He told me the 3 colors they have will be noir, cerise, and a pink color.

Okay thanks! I love the monogram so will probably end up getting it in rose ballerine and just try to avoid pushing the button like you said! So are there not any new victorine wallets being released?

As far as I know the newest release of the Victorine style is the Vernis leather. It is embossed with the LV Monogram as well, but is prone to color transfer. Canvas is a more durable material.
Generally with these leather snap closures, Louis Vuitton tends (don't quote me of course to replace the button within the first year of purchase for free if damaged.. after a year (generally around 30 dollars) out of pocket.
I do love the leather closure, and I have items with that closure.

Oh man that pink is just to die for!!!

I'm too scared to get a bag this light in the Empreinte, I have her in this gorgeous orange color that I forget the name of and I got some color transfer from my jeans, and I'm a jeans and jeggings girl!

I returned my tassel for this reason last year.
