The epi speedy is up on the US site if anyone is interested.

I went to try it on yesterday. I really like it. I don't own any epi pieces yet so I'm trying to do my homework on wear and tear before I take the plunge.

Sure, not a problem. The interior is black microfibre, so there isn't really much to see. There are 2 interior slip pockets. Would've been nice to have a zippered pocket as well, but it wasn't to be.

I wouldn't let a post from someone trying on a bag for a couple of moments in a store dissuade you from a purchase

I've had very positive experiences with all my Epi pieces and don't agree with much of what was said about the Speedy.

I agree! My 20 year old speedy is in great condition.As long as the leather is the same "thickness" it should be fine. I was disappointed with the vaneau, that epi leather was too thin.
