wander over to ebay too (or resale sites) and look at vintage epi bags in size 25. many look quite good still (holding shape) in comparison to canvas and leather bags. a lot depends on how you treat your bag too, and what you place inside over the years.

Just to chime in about the Speedy Epi Noir 25.. i just bought mine today (cldnt wait!). The epi leather feels softer than older epi leathers. My SA also said it is softer. I had an epi bb noe but sold it off recently. I dont think it will slouch like a canvas speedy as the base it pretty structured.
The side pocket is kinda small though... i dont know what i can stuff inside.
Otherwise, I'm glad to finally get a speedy in Epi!

Can you tell us anything about the interior? Is it microfibre lining, and yes, how is the interior pocket? I hope it's larger than the one in the canvas versions.
