I had a couple of jobs before I became an educator.
I've been a stay-at-home mom (for 14 years), and a volunteer tutor to struggling students at my daughter's school.
My husband is very responsible w/ money, while I enjoy my handbag shopping.
I'm not an over-the-top handbag shopper, because we are a one income family, but I combine my special occasions (Christmas, birthday, Valentine's, anniversary and Mother's Day) and as a gift, buy a really nice bag (or two small bags).
Our tax refund check is my Mommy Bonus- that's another bag a year.
My husband says nothing. He knows I've had to compromise a career (and financial independence) to be present for our daughter, who sometimes has hard days (she has Asperger's, mild Cerebral Palsy and a heart issue). She's incredibly strong!
So all mommies (and those who are not mommies), deserve that little handbag treat for working hard. You just need to be creative on how to raise the money, if that's an issue. If money is no object, you are verrrrrrrrrrry fortunate.

I'm in the same situation! We do deserve it.
leather always softens with use, any leather, empreinte included. personally, i think empreinte looks great on small bags and hobos ; hobos especially because the hobo is unstructured and lends itself very well to softening. a structured bag like the pm in leather will not retain shape over time, it's just not the aging process for leather. it'll soften the most where it lays to your body, so if you hand-carry/shoulder-carry it'll retain shape much better than being used as a crossbody. we'll have to wait and see how they age after people buy and use them. that's just my opinion, based on knowledge of leather. you might want to look at pre-loved twice and fascinante models, those will show how empreinte will soften in a more structured look

I think the diagonal épi looks great on the Speedy! I also love that they kept the patch pocket like on the Keepall épi.
They are both so pretty. I was thinking about getting the denim but now I don't know how I will be able to resist getting the noir too. Yikes!
HELLO Noir! I'm loving that they have the grain of the Epi going diagonally.
I'm excited to see these! I love that the Speedys are in a "twist" epi and not just the usual horizontal-grain epi.
