Ok ladies I have a question and need your help.! Is wrinkling and creasing the same thing? If not, what is that on the lower left side of my bag? It's not even like the rest and when I run my finger over it, I can feel like an indentation. Thank you! View attachment 2953828

As I have mentioned above, the bag has been stuffed for 2 weeks now and has not gone back to normal which is ok with me. I have learned to love her. [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

Like you, I can live with some light wrinkling/creasing but I would be pretty unhappy if the entire bag becomes wrinkled over time - which seems to be the nature of this soft lamb material and chevron style?

Those are dents...my first M/L I received from Hirsh and ended up returning had this, but far worse than yours. You could run your fingers over it and feel the indentations. Mine was dented and wrinkled all over the front. It looked ugly!
Yours looks very minor in comparison. :)

It's hard to say so it's scary. I know that I most likely will not buy another chevron style unless it's the ones from last fall which seems more structure and from what JE has said about it holding up well with daily wear. This bag reminds me a lot of my luggage. I loved it so much that I bought it knowing that over time it would slouch and look really sloppy but I just had too which is how I'm feeling about this bag now. [emoji24] I lay my luggage on its side and I think that I will do the same to my chevron as to not put pressure on it. I hope that makes sense.

Thank you MJ. With time, do you think this will go away? This is my first lamb bag ever. Also, do you know what caused them?

You're very welcome kle! [emoji8]

Honestly, I am not sure! I would like to think these little waves/indentations will smooth out over time. I have also had mine out of the dust bag in the open air stuffed for a couple of weeks. I hope it will hold up well!

ETA: I heard that the damage occurred when transporting the bags over to the US from Europe. I don't know if that's true or not but it sounds plausible since they say the chevron bags in Europe are perfect [emoji16]

Whoa! That is really bad. I am still baffled that the SA would send them out and that Chanel would stand by it.

I know right?? What's even worse than Hirsh sending out such a jacked up bag is Chanel telling me that wrinkles creases and dents are a normal characteristic of the lamb leather and not an imperfection. Sorry, but I'm calling BS on that one! [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]

Thank you! Let's all cross our fingers for the best. [emoji173]️

Another reason why I am living in the wrong country or at least need to visit Chanel in Europe again. [emoji85]

Just got my black black rect mini today and it had some slight wrinkles. I stuffed it and the wrinkles seem to disappear. Hopefully it will stay that way. Its such a gorgeous bag!
