So I’m at home planning tomorrow’s outfit to drive up to my local boutique for my appointment (two hour drive) because some things I ordered arrived in store… my fiancé storms in the house declaring that we are boycotting Chipotle because they raised the price by $3 and they were out of corn. He then proceeds to ask what time we’re leaving tomorrow for my H appointment 🤣

5k in miscellaneous H goodies: Sure!
$3 Chipotle price increase: Dead to him 😅🤣

Your hubby is dead right! It's the principle that counts!

My DH is an enabler...He encourages me to buy things that he knows make me happy.
I sometimes hesitate and ponder..'do I need it' should I spend the money on something else or just save it?
He's always reminding me we just have one life and if I want it get it..offering to buy it for me or at least contribute.
He actually bids for things at auction for me because he buys watches at auction and is very good at keeping his cool and putting in the winning bid without getting carried away.
I love that he never judges me on what I spend on my Hermes 'stuff' he knows it brings me joy and he also appreciates the quality of the things I do buy, because he's a bit of a geek about how things are made and the quality of the materials used.
But then again I dont roll my eyes when he buys another watch, or another guitar, synthisiser, or pen.
I don't get the pen thing but hey..he does'nt roll his eyes when I buy another scarf that I'll rarely wear, so who am I to comment on him buying yet another pen that he probably won't use!!!

My DH is not exactly an enabler (probably because I don’t need much enabling :happydance: ) but he always appreciates quality and a backstory so H is the perfect house for him. Plus he comes from a family of classic car collectors and collects cars himself, so he’s comfortable with the idea that these pursuits can be costly exercises. Given the car connection, it wasn’t hard to bring him on board with the Bolide, emphasising its association with cars. Once I told him the backstory of the zipper closure he was sold!

I spotted him across a crowded room at a party (true) I asked the friend who invited me if she knew who he was..It turned out that he was a good friend of her husband who had known him since school..
I was lucky I truly found my soulmate having relatively recently ended a really unhappy 11year relationship.
He's just today added another keyboard to his collection..which means I don't feel too guilty looking at pre-owned Hermes online

That is awesome, happy there was some sunlight & a rainbow after those cloudy years!

DH today, after hearing me chatting with my SA about a bag offer: ‘oh, so we’re delaying our retirement again?’ 😂
And then, ‘I guess I don’t need to try to get you an appointment in Paris next month’….hmmm!
He doesn’t mean it …. How else would he get to have lunch at Clamato :)
