I found this Marmont top handle bag on sale and couldn't let it go. I was not interested in Gucci before but recently wanted the Dionysus bag. I tried it at Gucci Florence but did not like the chain. Then they have bag sale at my local store yesterday, no dionysus but this Marmont instead. I found it is a perfect work bag, fit all my daily stuff, light, comfortable, can wear different ways and very good price. So the question is should I keep it? Thank you everyone for your comment and advise, I decided to keep the bag and very happy with it. I really love the leather. I think I will have to pay much more for similar bag from LV (I'm LV's fan). And for the first time my hubby comment on my bag that this is a good choice.

I am glad to hear you kept it. It's a new style bag which is probably why you couldn't find too much information on it. I personally think the style and shape of the bag is so so elegant and classic. I love the Marmont GG logo, makes it look more modern and cool. Plus it can be carried with the top handle or worn cross body with the long strap! I saw more colors in the Gucci store this season, so it's definitely a classic. Just perfect!!

I can't believe you found this on sale! I just saw it at my local boutique for full price. To me it looks very classic. The silhouette, the smooth leather, the minimal hardware, and the color all say timeless to me. Enjoy!
