It's not horrible. If that song was playing on the car radio, I wouldn't change the station.
Would I buy her c.d.? No.

Yup. That's why all the pop artist lip synch. (and then deny it)HmmM.... what wonders Producers can do... ANybody could sound like that after the studio has fixed & toned downed there flaws. It did have a catchy beat to it.... but I'm sure.. if you were to ask them to sing or rap "live" it'll probably sound like cats crying. Not to mention, couldn't they have come out with something more original than sample someone else's beat~!
ITA. Digital effects can recover the fact that someone can't sing. Wait for someone like her to release a song without all of these fancy beats and sound effects. That won't happen, because she doesn't have the talent to release a song that relies more on voice than sound effects.HmmM.... what wonders Producers can do... Some years ago, to show off the magic his new stuff could do, an acquaintance whose work involved music production had a lady who was somewhat notorious for being unable to carry a tune and claimed to have never hit a note in her life go into the booth and sing a song, while a group of bemused but skeptical friends looked on.HmmM.... what wonders Producers can do...
